    HOME CONTINUING CARE PROGRAM (HCC)
    The Home Continuing Care Program provides regular in-home visits to clients who have diffculty leaving their homes.  The HCC staff, working under a doctor's prescription, address overall physical functioning.   The staff also educate clients about adaptive and durable medical equipment, a home exercise program, and safety concerns. The HCC staff provide this program to individuals in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Green, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland counties.   The staff visit clients Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES
    Today's world of healthcare products and services is constantly changing.  That's why we're here to help you.  The MS Therapy Center is a full service provider of medical equipment and supplies which includes sales, services, and rentals with free delivery in your area.  You are able to discuss your needs and receive the equipment you need easily and quickly. Our experienced staff recognizes that every person with multiple sclerosis has needs for unique medical equipment and supplies including:

    • Wheelchairs
    • Power chairs
    • Scooters
    • Rehab supplies
    • Orthopedic supplies
    • Alternating pressure mattresses
    • Incontinent care supplies
    • Blood pressure monitors
    • Hospital beds
    • Ambulatory aids: walkers, canes, quad canes
    • Activities of daily living supplies
    • Bathroom safety equipment
    • Wound care supplies
    Free delivery is provided to your home.


    CLINICAL SERVICES
    A neurological clinic was established in 1956 in order to provide consultation in diagnosis and symptom management. 

    INFORMATION AND REFERRAL
    This program is designed to help individuals in making the necessary emotional, social and economic adjustments in their lifestyle.  The MSSS staff acts as a liaison between the MS client and community resources.

    THERAPEUTIC SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
    The MSSS helps to fund ten social/activity clubs throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Most clubs meet monthly and plan various activities throughout the year.



    COMMUNITY EDUCATION
    The MSSS offers information and referral services to individuals with Multiple Sclerosis. Staff members are available for public speaking engagements to help educate the community about the disease.

    LENDING LIBRARY
    We can provide many books and articles with timely information about Multiple Sclerosis to our clients.
